Exploring Brig O’ Dee

The Brig (Bridge) of Dee is a road bridge over the River Dee. Dating from 1527, the bridge crosses at what was once the City of Aberdeen’s southern boundary.

The Bridge is a listed monument and the Battle of the Brig of Dee took place in June 1639.
