Event Sales Manager

An exciting role for Events Sales Coordinator at has become available at Banchory Lodge!  

We are seeking an experienced Event Sales Manager to join Banchory Lodge and lead the dedicated Events team, maximising event bookings and revenue. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality and sales, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences. 

Banchory Lodge is a quirky 28 bedroom hotel set in a stunning riverside location on Royal Deeside. The Lodge has the facilities for meetings and conferences, weddings and intimate private dining, and we host unique events throughout the year. A venue to be proud of, we offer seasonal menus in our bar and dining rooms in relaxed and very special surroundings.

Essential Skills: 

  • Proactively generate business and sell the venue to clients

  • Communicate effectively with clients to understand event requirements

  • Contribute to event ideas and sales strategy

  • Plan and coordinate all aspects of in house events

  • Manage event budgets and ensure cost-effective planning

  • Liaise with Operations team to oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown

  • Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and staff to deliver high-quality services

  • Provide excellent guest services throughout the event

  • Utilise upselling techniques to maximise revenue opportunities

  • People management responsibility for 2 direct reports
