Activities around The Lodge

When you come to The Lodge, you really are coming to one of Scotland’s most beautiful landscapes in the country.

Whether you are looking to venture out on a walk, climb a hill, cycle down the unused railway line, golf, sip a dram in a distillery or visit a haunted castle, it’s all here waiting for you. With open spaces in abundance all we ask is that you leave The Lodge feeling fully recharged, until we meet again…

Walking

For just a lazy, scenic walk, head off by the River Dee at the hotel along the Deeside Way, an unused railways line close to the hotel which follows the ambling river.

Cycling

The unused Deeside Way railway line is the jewel in the crown of family friendly cycling with a distance of 41 miles.

“The Lodge sits in splendid isolation on the riverbank just feet from the majestic River Dee. A full moon flooded The Feugh opposite with a glittering pathway of light which lit part of the Dee – magnificent”
