Dear Friends,

We are all so sad that this awful virus (Covid-19) is in our midst and that we have had to close the hotel to ensure we protect you, our valued customers, our own team and all our family and friends.  We would like to ask you to comply with the advice given by the government and stay home where you can, socially distance yourself and help others less fortunate than yourself over the next few months.

This is a challenging period for all of us and we have received amazing loyalty and support from our guests and that means a great deal to us during this difficult time.

We will be working from home to make sure we are in a strong position to open as soon is advised and we look forward to welcoming you back to the Lodge, when the time is right and safe to socialise again.

Keep in touch with news and updates on a regular basis through our social media channels and our website as we will do updates as we get them.

In the meantime, from all the team at The Lodge, thank you for your understanding and most importantly please stay safe.

The Directors

Hello you…

You might call it a boutique hotel, you might call it a village-style retreat, you might even call it a country hideaway. Whichever; we call it The Lodge – and we think you’re going to like it.

Set in 12 acres, the River Dee is on our doorstep. There is so much to do and see in the surrounding area – shooting, fishing, walking, golf or simply just eating and relaxing. The Lodge is your back-to-nature bolt-hole with a little touch of luxury.

The most stunning restaurant views in the UK revealed and we were number 3…

“The Lodge sits in splendid isolation on the riverbank just feet from the majestic River Dee. A full moon flooded The Feugh opposite with a glittering pathway of light which lit part of the Dee – magnificent”
Press and Journal

“Royal Deeside’s Banchory Lodge occupies a truly idyllic setting that’s hard to beat.”
